Our journey and passion
Next Chapter Counselling & Supervision was founded with a deep-rooted passion for helping individuals navigate their personal journeys. With over 15 years of experience in social work, addiction, and supporting clients and their families through the criminal justice system, I bring a wealth of practical understanding and empathy to each session. My commitment is to walk alongside you, offering guidance and support as you write your next chapter.

Our unique approach
We believe that every journey of recovery and personal growth is unique. My approach is deeply individualised, working at each person's own pace. I uphold the importance of Whanaungatanga (relationship, kinship, sense of family connection), Manaakitanga (hospitality, kindness, generosity, support), and the belief in walking alongside each person to reach their true potential. This means fostering genuine connections, treating everyone with respect and kindness, and providing unwavering support throughout your process.

Who we help
I am particularly passionate about supporting clients who are transitioning from treatment programmes or the criminal justice system back into the community. This transition can be challenging, and services are tailored to provide the guidance, counselling and recovery life coaching needed to foster successful reintegration and build a solid foundation for a fulfilling future. Private and funded sessions, both in-person and online.
"The support from Next Chapter Counselling was invaluable during my transition. They truly understand the journey."
